Two important music documentary films were screened over Christmas for expected ratings.
The swirling, stream-of-consciousness god Michael Hutchence & the ultimate pop rock "grudge lyric" miserablist John Lennon took centre stage, with walk-on roles for Paula Yates and Yoko Ono.
Check it out.

I still am unable to find out if the taxi driver who attacked Hutchence in Copenhagen was ever found and charged. I suspect not, as Hutchence didn't really open up about the attack or seek immediate treatment for it. I think that one incident changed his life for the worse although later during the Paula Yates years his mood seemed improved, until the court cases kicked in. But you don't really know what was going on in his head following the attack. What a f***ing turn of fate, some lunatic cab driver changing the course of one of the biggest people in rock with one blow.

What a f***ing turn of fate, some lunatic cab driver changing the course of one of the biggest people in rock with one blow. He was a reckless spirit. He looked paranoid and "gone" in his final years, reminded me of acid casualties I've known. A great singer as his friend Bono asserted.
The travel footage of Kylie Minogue was stunning. She's a unique being.

As of course are all beings. But the scenes with her really made me cringe.

Yeah, each to their own, I guess. She also has a cameo in 20,000 Days On Earth for your delectation. Enjoy it if you see it.
