"On The Bowery" is a very good movie. I'll think of more, later.

I've got a soft spot for Stone Pillow with Lucille Ball. It's a bit campy but there's practical and useful hobo advice in there-- like putting plastic bags over your feet so you don't get trench foot.
I believe Swiss Army Man was about a homeless man. Somewhat pretentious but quite good.
And Blue Ruin would get my top pick. Stellar film.

I recently watched Leave No Trace (2018), a good film which has a different take on homelessness. Father and daughter are homeless by choice. They successfully live in the woods. The government tries to force them to change.
From wiki...
"After Paddington 2, it is the second-most reviewed film to hold an approval rating of 100% on the site (Rotten Tomatoes)."

It gave me a soothing, peaceful feeling because so much of the film takes place in the forests of the northwest. It was a refreshing change from fighting and car-chases, etc.

I remember watching a review by Mark Kermode where he started losing his composure when discussing it and they ended the review there.
