She's the Bond guy. Duh. [joke stolen from Reddit]
I rather liked her album and being a mid-30s bloke who doesn't listen to pop music at all I'm not even in the right demographic for it. The songs are catchy and creative and the production was much more minimal and bassy than I was expecting, owing more to experimental electronic music than pop. I couldn't imagine her singing the Bond theme though. Even if it's shit it won't really matter, the last time the Bond theme was actually any good was the 70s.

I didn't care much for her album, speaking as a mid-30s bloke who does listen to pop music. Yeah, some of the songs are catchy, but the thing is that minimalist electronic style has been increasingly popular in mainstream pop over the last 20 years, probably ever since Radiohead's Kid A. I'd say the biggest specific influence is trap music, which has also been circulating in the mainstream for about 20 years now. Eilish is at her best when she's doing dark, horror-esque stuff (you should see me in a crown, bury a friend) and beautiful ballads (when the party's over, and most of the last few tracks); but there's plenty of stuff on there that just comes off as juvenile and bratty--which is to be expected from someone who's 17. I particularly don't know how Bad Guy got popular... the beat and hook are barely there and there's not even a legit chorus (that synth riff is... OK, but rather monotonous).
