to LSU players The money that Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. distributed on the field after LSU's national championship victory Monday was real, Tigers quarterback Joe Burrow said in a podcast interview released Wednesday." But the part worth reading comes next: "" I'm not a student-athlete anymore, so I can say yeah," Burrow said on the most recent episode of Barstool Sports' "Pardon My Take."" The implication being that all the times he was asked about getting elicit goods or monies when he was still a student-athlete, he couldn't say yeah. Yeah, the prospect of you doing like I do and reading other people's threads first to learn what you don't know, before starting your own and ending up like WHA??? Burrows is a whistle blower, but how??? is a really hilarious suggestion. I'm such a clown.

That's like my neighbor's kid blaming me for telling the police he was visiting his mother (my neighbor). Don't blame me for telling the truth. When it was he who broke the law.

It's illegal for your neighbor's kid to visit her? You know, I hadn't thought of it like that, like Burrow should be blamed or labeled a "rat" or whatever. I suppose I'm kind of a square or a girl scout, or something, because the only thing that didn't sit well with me was that Burrow's phrasing (which may mean nothing) made it seem like the only reason he finally was telling the truth about this type of thing is that he's no longer a student-athlete. I think the kids should always be encouraged to be straight up about this type of thing, without recrimination. That having been said, I don't want to see OBJ end up in real trouble over this. That having been said, god damn, he should have known better. Three years playing college ball, put aside how the NCAA scrutinizes the players' transition from high school to college, and he still didn't know enough to think he'd be putting those boys in a total crap spot by publicly showering them with cash?

Police with uniforms and guns surrounded me in the parking lot at night, and started asking me questions. I wasn't going to volunteer any information. But I wasn't going to lie to the police and get myself in trouble. 1) I follow the law. 2) Nobody told me the police were looking for him. 3) I don't appreciate him putting me in that position.

Holy moly, that's not a fun parking lot experience for you. Hell yeah, what are you supposed to get arrested for obstruction? Not that it would come to that, but if you're anything like me, lying doesn't even really occur to you as a course of action, so why start with people who have guns and tasers?

You mean this part An LSU spokesperson on Tuesday morning had told the Baton Rouge Advocate that the money being handed out on the field by Beckham, a former LSU star, was counterfeit.
and this part? After the game, LSU coach Ed Orgeron said he wasn't aware of the incident.
"First I'm hearing about it," Orgeron told reporters in New Orleans after the game.Very much "yeah, right" indeed. *slaps sdm3 hard on his bum* *gets arrested*
