I've had them in boba teas and also ice cream bars. They're alright.

I haven't. I had to appeal to the Google Gods to see what it is. I turns out that there are several places in my area that serve bobas ... gotta try.

Within a five-block radius of where I live, there must be at least a dozen places that sell bubble tea - so yes, I've had it many times. I love it - in the summer I buy it all the time.
There's a different type of boba that I prefer to the black tapioca ones - it has a soft membrane and it's filled with a fruit-flavoured liquid. Once it's in your mouth you just press it with your tongue, it breaks open, and you taste the liquid. Not every place has that one.

Today I noticed a shop called "bobas" on the way to pick up my daughter with Cerebral Palsy!! lol I didn't know it existed. Like wickedkittiesmom thought, they kind of choke me. I only had them once, and they were not that pleasant to me. guess people have them in tea, fruit drinks and on ice cream. tell us if you like them . Like tapioca, there isn't much taste. It mostly is texture.

So that's what those are! Catman has been wondering ever since seeing Panda drinking one in an episode of We Bare Bears.
