It's very rare when I see something sports related that I've never seen before, but you got me on this one.
I've been watching NFL football since the late 70's, and I had NEVER seen those Giants helmets before. Shows you how bad the 1975 Giants apparently were.

I remember seeing photos before. The league went ape shit with pin striping in the mid-late 70's with these duds. This era before Parcell's got there, the Giants looked like crappy Halloween costumes designed for an 8 year old. It would be another 11 years of misery before the Giants could bring home the Lombardi trophy.

Too many stripes! Those helmets could have not lasted very long, my earliest recollections of the Giants were before Parcells got there, and they were already wearing the uniforms and helmets that they had during the glory days of the 80's. These helmets in the OP could not have lasted more than a year or two.
