This movie was sorta interesting but ultimately forgettable. Loved the gaysian pothead who looked neither gay nor like a pothead (but very very asian).

Not every gay person is going to be a stereotype. Most of the sexuality in this movie in general took a backseat. (Save for Maggie Q in Bed with her lover. Or Portia Doubleday making out with a fling.) I really liked his relationship with his Brother. How supportive he was. They had great chemistry. Some funny lines. The movie was about what I expected... Corny but not too bad. Some of the twists gave me whiplash towards the end. But were interesting to me. Enjoyed Lucy Hale's and Doubleday's arcs. Maggie Q's was pretty good too. Patrick's arc didn't really click with me until the very end.

I would actually buy this movie on DVD which almost NEVER happens with anything new. I went to see it today and was genuinely surprised by it, I don't get what all the hate is about.

Someone needs to take a lesson from Blumhouse studios on how to manage budgets, they are fantastic at keeping their films underbudget so even when they flop like Fantasy Island, not too much money is ever lost at all.

I didn’t get the hate either. I can’t wait to get this on Blu Ray. I’m also glad this wasn’t a spoof of the show like most tv shows to movie adaptions. The only things I really didn’t like was the marketing, Pena could have done better as Roarke and they had Michael Rooker in this, but really underused him.
