Penelope Ann Miller
"It's over."
Penelope Ann Miller was born in Los Angeles, California on January 13, 1964. She trained as a dancer. Actor Al Pacino once described Miller as a "spinning top". At a time when every big-name film and theatre director wished to work with her, Gregory Peck praised Miller as being "one of the finest young actresses" in American cinema.
"We're the Millers."
Fun Fact : Penelope Ann Miller was cast in 'The Artist' (2011) having impressed decades earlier as Pee Wee Herman's main squeeze.

Liked her in what I’ve seen so far. Even stuff like The Shadow or The Relic.

I do like it too. It’s got this great noirish atmospheric and Alec Baldwin is a good fit. But the villain could have been better. Out of those early nineties pulp superhero movies, I liked The Phantom better and absolutely loved The Rocketeer.

Last film I saw her in was I think Along Came A Spider? Suddenly she was in mother roles. Monica Potter was like a blonder Julia Roberts.

She often talks to local press back home to Ohio, pictured here in Ohio magazine.

I don't remember her in that. But then the only characters I remember are the three in the room, Dina Meyer, and the actress from the Blob.

Also, check out 'Con Air' (1997) among her films, I'd say one of the best action pictures of the 1990s and very rewatchable (if you like action pictures).

Yes, that was a breakthrough role for her. Pictures here with John Cusack who's a Catholic from Illinois.

All I remember about Con Air was the plane stuff with prisoners, Malkovitch, and Rachel Ticotin was one of the guards.
I don't remember Cusack at all in that or what Nicholas Cage was doing! I have seen The Rock a few times.
I'll have to revisit it.

'The Rock' and 'Con Air' were a pair of blockbusters that transformed the fortunes of Nicolas Cage and turned him into a bona fide action hero. I saw them back when I still used to regularly attend cinema screenings and enjoyed both movies, but it's 'Con Air' I return to on tv.

I feel bad for having taken the topic off Penelope Ann Miller.
There's an anecdote about her and John Leguizamo. That she was a snob when making Carlito's Way so he and a wardrobe mistress kept shrinking her clothes so she would think she was too fat and starve herself.
BS? That seems like a pretty serious act of revenge that could have got them in a heap of trouble if they were caught.
"Hey remember me, Benny Blanco from the Bronx?"

Sounds like idle gossip, or the usual scaremongering.
