I don't think they can do all that much to either make your health better, or make it worse.
Old saying an apple a day keeps the doctor away, pretty much bullshit really. Apples don't matter for shit! Ya, an apples gonna control my health gtfo.

no apologies necessary, wkm wickedkittiesmomfruits and veggies are needed to get micronutrients, someguybut if you don't like them, let me introduce you to fiber no single food will make one live forever... but a well balance diet is best for that purpose

I peel the skin off of my husband's apples and I also slice them for him, he's a disaster with knives and peelers - I would rather do the peeling than rushing him to intermediate care for stiches (he had an episode with carving a pumpkin when we were first married and he almost lost his thumb).
