Prego is pretty good. But, adding your own touches must have enhanced it greatly.

Let me tell you, you can get the cheapest spaghetti sauce out there (hunts) and if you brown some hamburger and add to it, it makes it way better. And if you take the time to dice up a green pepper and onion makes it even better.

I like Prego's Farmer's Market Marianna sauce, I add a tablespoon of sugar and a tablespoon of Parmesan/Roman grated cheese and browned ground chuck to make a meat sauce.

Add a couple spoonfulls of the starchy pasta water to make it less runny also.

(posted this on another board and thought I would post it here) The other day I had spaghetti with this Prego sauce and it was good. I had about half a jar left and today added what you see below. It made a good sauce a great sauce. Well worth the effort. As I was cooking the spaghetti I browned the hamburger along with the diced pepper and chopped onoin. Drained the grease and added the Prego to the skillet and let it simmer for awhile. Added some grated cheese. It was good with just the sauce but so, so much better when I did it this way! You forgot the herbs. In summer I grow my own basil parsley and oregano, and red wine. In winter the dried varieties are nearly as good.
