It's the list of a guy who know what he likes and that's cool with me.

I'm slightly disappointed in the lack of foreign (non-English) movies.

If I had to do about a Top 30, mine would currently sit at 39 movies as that's the best I can narrow things which is everything I score a SOLID 8/10 or higher. FridayOnElmStreet That's why I list stuff the way I do instead as it makes it much easier to make a proper list as it's impossible for me to have a clear cut order as most are just too-close-to-call. like for example, which makes stuff much easier... 1)Movie A - 10/10 -)Movie B 3)Movie C - 9/10 4)Movie D 5)Movie E - 8/10 etc because with that info it basically tells those looking at it that Movie A and B are tied for me with a 10/10 and Movie C and D, while they have the same 9/10 score, I slightly prefer Movie C over Movie D and so on. it's not difficult to translate that @ponty In my mind... when your talking roughly Top 30 of all-time, or even close, barely many non-English movies would be worth mentioning. I think this is just the way it is for most people who speak the English language, like here in the USA or UK and the like. p.s. in fact, for me the only non-English language movie in my Top 30-ish movies is... Angel-A (2005) (9/10 ; within my Top 16 movies).
Yeah, I respect a list that's honest instead of those usual list that list typical BS that's mostly inline with critics for fear if they are honest someone will dis them etc because there list is not snob-ish enough.

I know that some American audiences dislike reading (subtitles) so they only watched English movies or movies that are dubbed.

@ponty
Ill admit I have not seen a lot of foreign movies. but I don't think that's the reason.
but out of what I have seen, not many are good enough to be among my favorite movies. like to look at the facts here are the only non-English language movies of any real worth for me...
1)Angel-A (2005) - 9/10 (within my Top 16 movies) 2)The Artist and the Model (2012-2013) - 7-7.5/10 (within my Top 154 movies, or not much outside of my Top 77 movies) 3)Priceless (2006) - 7/10 (within my Top 154 movies) -)The Passion of the Christ (2004) -)Malena (2000) 6)Anthony Zimmer (2005) - 6.5-7/10 (within my Top 154 movies) 7)Venus in Fur (2013-2014) - 6-6.5/10 (within my Top 187 movies) 8)Miss Bala (2011) -)Le Samourai (1967)
with that said... do I think there is more non-English language movies that would stand out for me? ; Yes. but I don't think it will be easy to find them which, like movies in general, I just watch whatever I watch and whatever happens, happens.
p.s. hell, there are only 154 movies (187 movies if I am counting movies a bit shy of favorite movie status) out of the 2,275+ total movies I have seen. so as you can see that's only about 7-8% of everything I have seen straight up. even counting all movies I mildly like that percentage raises to only about 20%, or 1 out of every 5 movies I have seen over the long term.
Personally I don't mind using subtitles as when I watch a non-English language movie I prefer subtitles over dubbing since dubbing generally sucks the life out of the actors performance. there might be a rare exception to this rule but as a general rule I prefer original spoken language with subs.
but anyways... while I think it's natural to want to avoid subtitles, due to it takes our attention off of the visuals, it's generally not that much of a issue for me especially if there is not a boatload of text to read as every now and then some movies fire off text fairly quickly and at a certain scene it helps to pay more attention to say someones facial expressions etc which can take one out of a movie a little bit.

So your favourite horror movie is Shocker? An original choice. I do like The Blair Witch Project, although certainly not as much as you do.
I love that you have two Batman movies in your Top 10, though I'd personally rank Batman Returns ever so slightly ahead of Batman (both would still be 10/10 from me nonetheless).

I first saw it in 2005 (I think) and loved it right off the bat. When it comes to The Blair Witch Project I was one of those people who thought it was real. But I was only like 10 at the time.

Interesting. We do share a similar taste in Bond film. License To Kill and OHMSS would make my top 5 as well.

I still feel relatively new to the series mainly since I did grow up with it. But I quickly became a big Bond fan and I love most of the films. Diamonds Are Forever and Quantum of Solace are the only two I do not like.

Better than most lists, if only for being honest, instead of one of those dorks who simply pick movies that famous critics herald or that keep in the imdb top 250. You have some of those, but not so many that you look like a sycophant. I'll rank the list C minus, which is better than what 75% of the toadies on this website get.
Best of the list: It's a Wonderful Life Deliverance For Your Eyes Only Day of the Dead South Park License to Kill
Worst of the list On Her Majesty's Secret Service The Godfather The World is Not Enough all Friday the 13th Natural Born Killers Suicide Squad Batman

I have only seen 13 of those movies.
In my top 10 The Godfather (1972) Its number 3
In my top 50 From Russia With Love (1963) Its number 44
Movies i liked but they are not in my top 100. On Her Majestys Secret Service (1969) For Your Eyes Only (1981) Licence to Kill (1989) Batman Returns (1992) Batman (1989) South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut (1999) The Blair Witch Project (1999) The World is Not Enough (1999)
I did not like these movies. It's a Wonderful Life (1946) Natural Born Killers (1994) Pulp Fiction (1994)
So based on those movies i will say your list is decent.
