I will make these threads for a full since the daily threads weren't cutting it. Mets dug themselves into a hole and now 2 games under 500. i have no doubt they will come out of it. yankees are losing to IVAN NOVA, the ass who blew game 5 of the 2011 ALDS. he couldn't cut it so they put him in the nl central and his ERA goes down by like 2 runs per game. we need to get to this guy. mets and nats tonight on Sunday night baseball :/ Read more: imdb2.freeforums.net/thread/21033/mlb-games-thread-week-23#ixzz4f6IDX4be |

Lots of games rained out around the northeast tonight, including the Fish-Phillies.
Most impressive teams so far have been Nats, Astros, Rockies and D-Backs IMO. I think that the Astros may be the AL champions, they are playing very well, their pitching has improved, Keuchel is back to 2015 form and their new additions are paying off.
AL West is certainly fun to watch, Rockies, D-Backs and Dodgers are all playoff contenders IMO.
How about the Brewers in the NL central, they are looking pretty good and Eric Thames is the league leader in HR's with 11. Yeah, a guy who hasn't played in MLB since 2012 is leading the league in HR's now.

This week has sucked for the Fish, we are mired in a huge slump. Especially not good seeing that the Braves, Mets and Phillies are playing well. We need to pick it up, now.
Some good series going on, Yankees-O's, Cubs-Sox and Rockies-D-Backs are all big series for April.

Yeah I do, did you just see that Rockies comeback?! They came back from down 2 in the 9th and down 6-1 earlier. They have the best offense in the league, period. Also the addition of Greg Holland as closer has been huge, it gives them a top notch closer which they haven't had in a while and their starting pitching is better. As of right now, I think the Rockies are the best team in the NL West.

Fish unleash on the Pirates today and avoid the sweep, maybe we are heating up now. It was great to get 5 shutout innings from the pen, and Bour had 4 hits and 6 RBI's, he is hot now. We need to pitch more consistently and we will be good.
