3-5 last night. this guy has mvp almost locked up. maybe they're onto something by letting their kids rot on the farm and then calling them up in there upper 20s and they eventually make an impact 5 years later. he's actually only like 26 or so - but it's nice to see him having a breakout year. it get it. it's early. 1st week in may. he's one of those kids on your farm you heard about for years that could be a cornerstone of the 'phuture' but seemed to disappoint for years and things just didn't gel and click - who knows - maybe he finally figured things out. hoping this is the same for the roman quinns of the world who've been hanging out down on the farm for eons (i get his injury issues)- want to see all these kids up here august/sept

cesar hernandez went 4-7, 2 runs and a stolen base today. his lead for MVP votes is getting larger by the day.

The Phillies actually look much better than I thought they would this year. If they had any semblance of a bullpen, they might actually contend with Washington. As it stands though, that bullpen may be the worst in the MLB. I do not remember this many blown leads in years and it is only May.

yep. i think they could make a run for a wild card. The Phillies? They are absolutely dreadful now. 6-22 in May. Most of the games are over by the third too. This team is unwatchable right now.
