“What She Said: The Art of Pauline Kael” is a new documentary about the life and work of the legendary New Yorker film critic.
“City Lights” host Lois Reitzes spoke with the film’s director Rob Garver from NPR in New York.
When he began reading Pauline Kael’s reviews as a student, he said, “it was like listening to a pop song for the first time and immediately wanting to hear more.”
