Apparently Brandon Cooks was traded yet again this time to the Texans for a 2and round pick. God BoB is an idiot. Brandin Cooks! This is great. Give BoB a lifetime contract.

Crazy thought - do the Patriots make a play for Josh Rosen? Seems to me that if the Dolphins draft a QB at #5 as expected, Rosen will once again find himself surplus to requirements. I for one feel for Rosen who was in a terrible situation on a shit Cardinals team (with no offensive line and a non-NFL-caliber offensive system) as a rookie, followed by playing in a Miami team who, let's be real, had no real interest in winning games last year. If he's not completely ruined by these experiences, he could still show something provided he's developed and coached properly. Could the Patriots be that team?

I don't know that they think they can do anything with Rosen that they can't do with Stidham, at least to the degree of difference that would make a trade worth it.

I don’t know a whole lot about Rosen, but does he have the mindset and emotional maturity to be the guy that follows Tom Brady? Doubtful. I can see it now, he throws a 1st quarter pick in his first game as a Patriot and the fans eat him alive.

It's the Stiddy era now for Belichick. I think Bill wants to show he can do it. Aside 10 wins, if they can get Stidham to have a Matt Cassel type year (stats), then they'll be very happy.
Ppl suggesting the Patriots are pumping his tires for trade value. Auburn was not set up for his skill set, & aside Alabama, Belichick never seems to check which school a guy played under.

Rosen has been put in terrible situations in his first 2 NFL seasons - first on an awful Cardinals team then on an awful Dolphins team, he hasn’t had a chance to succeed. I think the Pats should give him a chance, I think he would provide them with a better chance at having a decent season than Stidham. Rosen is somewhat arrogant and his attitude might rub people the wrong way, but he’s a better QB than Stidham.

I used to think that this was the slam dunk move for them to make even when Brady was there. Trade for Rosen and let him be the next guy. However there are a few things I think are not a fit now. Would the Dolphins trade him within the same division? According to Matt Miller on his podcast the problem with Rosen right now is that he's not winning over team mates in the locker room. I don't think that's what Belichick is really wanting at this point in time. Also, the Patriots are talking up Stidham much like they did with a Jimmy G and not so much as they did with Brissett or Mallet who they were quick to move on from. Stidham apparently has some trust there. I think they stick with him and potentially grab somebody like Jalen Hurts on Day 2 of the draft. Bill Simmons talks a lot about how he thinks Belichick is jealous of these new age athletic QB's and wants one. Rosen was my favorite QB out of that class but I think he may just not know what it takes to be a pro. Specially if he's acting out while he's not even playing. That won't last long in the NFL.

Rosen sucks.
He's a complete bust.
And for all of you blaming the Cardinals, he played even worse for the Dolphins.
Anyone who is sick of the Pats winning, should be praying that he goes there.

Rosen seems like an immature douchebag. I thought he was the second best QB of that draft behind Mayfield, and I still think he’s been put in 2 lousy situations where the cupboards were bare, but yeah he doesn’t seem like a pro. I just don't think Stidham is good enough to be an NFL QB, I can’t imagine him starting all 16 games for the Pats.

I just don't think Stidham is good enough to be an NFL QB, I can’t imagine him starting all 16 games for the Pats. Rosen I think had the mistake of being compared to Aaron Rodgers in terms of attitude. Both aren't your typical "rah rah let's go" Russell Wilson bland cheerleader kind of guys. Only thing was, Rodgers turned out to have all world talent and outside of a couple of guys (Jennings and Finley) he seems well liked by team mates. He's just, a different type of personality that knows he's smart and knows he's good. Rosen? I think he just came into the league thinking this was going to be easy for him and instead of putting the work in acted like that cocky dude that others hate if he's not on your team and never earned any of the attitude. My bet, he came into the league with a chip on his shoulder and told anyone who'd listen only to then fail and then try and blame others. I think it was a cycle for him and now if it continues he's likely out of the league sooner than later. For Stidham, in normal circumstances I'd say he's not good enough to be a starting QB. However, if the Pats team has a defense similar to last years. All he needs to do is be a guy that doesn't turn the ball over and plays just smart enough. With a 7th playoff spot up for grabs I could see them in the running for that in a 9-7 type of season. I however don't think he's the long term answer so I suggested Jalen Hurts as a draft pick on D2. Maybe he takes over mid season.

I know what you're thinking, "you call losing five more games than the previous year successfully adjusting?"

I know what you're thinking, "you call losing five more games than the previous year successfully adjusting?" Actually I was thinking, "How come you never geared anything toward Bledsoe or any other QB you had before Brady?" Or, "I'm glad he geared the defense toward being lousy so the team's success would hinge upon Brady's brilliance, forcing him to consistently put up big numbers."

Jags are looking to move Fournette after he ran his mouth talking about how they need to sign Cam Newton. Apparently he has no confidence in Minshew.
It’s just a dumpster fire in Jacksonville.

He's been posting instagram pics of past Eagles rushers like Reggie White and Trent Cole dropping hints he wants to go to the Birds.
He's unhappy with his contract situation.
Wonder if he gets dealt prior to the draft.
Would love to have him - would free up Cox more in the middle.
