Well I actually picked both Javier Bardem (from "NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN") and Tom Cruise (from "COLLATERAL") for the same reasons which were that they were both cold, smart, intelligent, scary, relentless, motivated, professional, and pretty darn scary at times.
I picked Jean Reno (from "LEON: THE PROFESSIONAL") because he is caring, honest, respectful, knows the difference between right and wrong, doesn't kill women and children, is also professional, and he gives his life to protect a child's life, and also makes sure that the person he cares about the most will be okay and taken care of if anything bad ever happened to him.

-George Clooney in The American (2010) (which is my #1 movie of the genre to) -Jude Law in Road to Perdition (2002) (this movie is within my Top 6 movies straight up but it's not really a hitman type of movie in general as it's more gangster-ish)
-For a movie that's not serious... Pierce Brosnan in The Matador (2005). -For movies that are more action oriented... Keanu Reeves in John Wick (2014)/Jason Statham in Crank (2006).
p.s. for the record... at one point Leon (1994)/Collateral (2004) were my top 2 movies of the genre but those movies no longer hold up for me as The American easily tops those two for me now. it's more low key though and less action oriented and more of a character study with a solid atmosphere to the movie which really boosts it.

He REMINDS me of the LATE GREAT James Garner. He's also in The Road Warrior and was the 80s Tom Hardy. Vernon Wells? Bnsat.

Prime etc.I used to think that was a solid movie and while I still like it, it's lost most of it's magic. but with that said... still, it's one of Banderas better roles.
