Great band, don't think they're officially disbanded, but no album for years. Pretty In Pink their most well known song. Oh, just found out, new album out on May1, first in thirty years.

The lead singer is one of the vocalists who would make a good guest vocalist for (The) Alan Parsons (Project).

Super band that had to go to America to kick start their career. Saw them live twice in my home city back in the 80s (Forever Now & Mirror Moves). Caught them a few years ago as well, and I was cheesed off to find John Ashton was no longer playing with them! They are on the road again this year.
I'm a fan of all the albums really (not heard the new one from this year), but if picking a favourite it would be Talk Talk Talk, which contains some ferocious PUNK tunes.
Fave Songs
India I Wanna Sleep with You Mr. Jones Into You Like a Train All of This and Nothing President Gas Love My Way Forever Now Only You and I The Ghost In You Heaven Alice's House Highwire Days Heartbreak Beat Shadow In My Heart Shine Entertain Me House Valentine Untill She Comes There's A World
Also like Love Spit Love, the spin off band the Butler's formed, got both albums and both are well worth listening to.

"The Ghost in You" has always been my favorite.
I also love "Love My Way"

From the new album MADE OF RAIN.
Appropriately gloomy. Shades of Talk Talk Talk?

I did go through their first 3 studio albums, earlier this fall, and yeah, Talk Talk Talk (1981) turned out to stand as I suspected (from earlier visits) as my favorite of theirs, as I think the debut and the third one (Forever Now) was a bit too uneven, not bad, just not enough great cuts, and a few forgettable here and there. But Talk Talk Talk contained some incredible stuff, and sounds very huge, but not taking away any of the more "edgy" style of their first release. Have yet to hear any of the albums released after Forever Now, but I guess they went further on with their new wave/pop-rock sound on those, but if anything comes close to Forever Now, President Gas or Love My Way, then I will be very interested in checking it out.
