Okay. I'm satisfied that two front runners here will win, so locking poll.
I can understand the iconic Jaws with all the iconic scenes making it, but it's puzzling that Godfather is iconic to anyone. There is not one single memorable scene or character in it. However, the ignorant masses just obey what Siskel and Ebert preach to them.

Siskel & Ebert didn't even become a team until 1975, so they obviously had nothing to do with it.
