people grow avocados in yards here. Not commercially, but one or two trees.
it is too cold in general, but with extraordinary measures one can grow here.
the cartels are diversifying.

This sounds strange to me. I never see avocados from Mexico. Only from California and Florida. I always buy the Hass.

This sounds strange to me. I never see avocados from Mexico. Only from California and Florida. I always buy the Hass. I once saw avocados for sale at a gas station convenience store in Mexico. I remember thinking "where else but in Mexico would a convenience store sell avocados?".

Most for the U.S. come from here. Doesn't mean we don't get them from Mexico also. Our grocery stores only have U.S. ones though, so I don't feel bad when I shove it in my mouth or smush it on my face.....Now my Tequila...….
