Both Man Utd and Arsenal have mathematical chances to overtake Liverpool and Man City but a look at their remaining fixtures shows how difficult that might be. Man Utd have to play Man City, Spurs and Arsenal away, while Arsenal have games against Spurs and Man Utd. Liverpool seem to have the easiest of run-ins, but their unpredictability is worrying.

Momentum is definitely with United but they have the more difficult fixtures. If they can pick up a point or more against City, I think they'll over take Liverpool.

Don't disagree Painbow. Liverpool are their own worst enemy.

Yes, the run-in seems to favour Liverpool over United but as we all know, the run-in period can throw up some remarkable coupon-busters : had you backed Palace on their last eight matchdays, the profit wouldn't have spoilt the cut of your coat for sure and they've yet to visit the two Manchester venues. But the bookies seem to be putting stock in the run-ins and have Liverpool as favourites to fill that 4th spot, behind City. 'Finish Top Four' book : Spurs 1/200 City 1/10 Liverpool 4/7 Man Utd 13/8 Arsenal 6 Everton 250
I'll personally say Liverpool will drop out, much to Fury's dismay.

I'm not optimistic about the Kop seeing CL football next year. I should say that whenever I watch them (not too often) they look fine but daft results keep cropping up. Losing Mane to injury has hampered them badly but they are a big club and should have people who can step in when misfortune arrives. Does Klopp really know what he is doing ? Milner at left back seems a waste. Sturridge in the doghouse also seems a waste

I also expect Man Utd to finish top 4, at the expense of Liverpool.
