By "Principle Theme" I am referring to the piece of music from each movie's soundtrack which, generally speaking, defines that particular film and, in most cases, is reprised on the score's "End Credits" track(Note: in some cases this may apply to more than one track, in these cases I will pick the one which is more well known)
Duel of Fates - The Phantom Menace
Across the Stars - Attack of the Clones
Battle of the Heroes - Revenge of the Sith
The Throne Room - A New Hope
The Imperial March - The Empire Strikes Back
Parade of the Ewoks - Return of the Jedi
Rey's Theme - The Force Awakes
March of the Resistance - The Last Jedi
The Rise of Skywalker - The Rise of Skywalker

Why hasn’t Williams yet written an operetta? I’ll write the libretto!

1. Imperial March/Vader theme, because it's a brilliant riff on Chopin's funeral march theme, and extremely varied and nuanced in the soundtracks, going through lots of inspired musical permutations
2. Duel of the Fates, bc it's simply so iconic and epic a choral piece, but unlike the march it never becomes a true leitmotive.
3.Across the Stars, probably my favorite love them in film soundtracks, clearly inspired by 2nd movement of Scheherazade (Rimsky-Korsakov)
HM: Battle of the Heroes, only not top 3 bc duel of the fates is too close in structure and effect.
