This is what is known. How much is unknown? For the hardcore militant atheist this is an easy question because only what is known is regarded to exist, and all that is unknown is regarded to not exist....unless it someday becomes known. Enjoy. The strange noise that people have been hearing for years but cannot identify are perhaps the tunneling machines, making tunnels and underground facilities in secret. An investigator on Coast to Coast said it came to the point when he could no longer dismiss it because too many truck drivers had told him the same story. They were told to go to a certain location and on arriving there was nothing there but a mountain. Then the side of the mountain opened up and they drove the trucks inside and followed an underground highway for six hundred miles. EDIT -- YouTube has many such videos if any of you are interested. I went with a short one because attention spans are not what they used to be, and I've been criticized for posting videos that are to long.

It’s not secret. I saw this on a 60 Minutes or something like that years ago. There are several underground bunkers around the country. And what does being an atheist have to do this? I suggest you reread the OP carefully. This one is not secret, and I never said it was a secret. It even has its own page on Wikipedia if I'm not mistaken. Do you remember how Monica Lewinsky was mocked for talking about the secret tunnels under the White House? Well, there are tunnels under the White House and all under DC, and they are secret. A friend of mine went down in them once. So when you hear those stories about the Illuminati underground cities and tunnels that go all over the world, remember that it's impossible because if it were possible the government and the media would have an inescapable obligation to tell us about them, instead of keeping them secret, which is well within their power to do. And as to what being an atheist has to do with this, I thought the parallel would be clear. Whether it's an underground complex hidden from public view or God and the hidden world of the supernatural, the militant atheist simply declares them nonexistent.

Here's the Finnish equivalent. Me, I'd rather die like a man on the surface than live like a rat in a sewer.
