I like them in almost all kinds of salads, and in cold sandwiches. I don't care for them on burgers, or BLTs.
On very warm days, my favorite dinner is an avocado half, with shrimp, crab or tuna overflowing the seed cavity. I put a variety of cold foods around the plate; olives, hard boiled egg, carrots, cukes, grapes (whatever I think of). I usually dribble a bit of vinaigrette over it. Thousand Island dressing is also good ... that makes it a crab/shrimp "Louie."
I love "guac," but I've only made it a couple of times, and that was long ago.
Also, plain slices, and a bit of lemon juice, is a good snack.

In salads, on bread with hummus or cheese or plain, on a burger or sausage or taco, and sometimes just eat it plain or with hot sauce. Don't really care for it heated. Make guac at times, but generally don't have a lime around.
