Posted this on some other site and thought I would post it here. Really do want your opinions. With spring just 15 days away and grilling season to begin I was wondering this. Gas or Charcoal grill. Which do you prefer and why?

I've only used charcoal, so can't really weigh in on gas. Though I sometimes toast things over my gas stove burners.

Years ago I read BBQ caused cancer. I quit since I had kids at the time. So I haven't Bbq'ed in years. Guess I am old enough I could start again. I am a charcoal bbq'er. Gas is to heat a home. Lol

Lol I char meat and eat burnt meat all the time. Recently passed my colo- test. It doesn't cause cancer, but raises the risk about 1 or 2%.

Should not follow everything. Wish I could go back and bbq. eat eggs. etc
