As I said this is a question for X-Men fans: what is your position on the Disney Fox merger? Also I will have to admit I am a Disney share holder who voted in favor of the deal and my only reason to vote for it is that the X-Men can be in the MCU and I am damn proud.

I'd probably it rather it have not happened because I don't know what will happen with things like Alien, Predator or Die Hard but for X-Men I think it's a good thing.

Look at their roster and there ar a lot of non-Disney like Disney films there. Unbreakable, 13th Warrior, Summer Of Sam for example....all Disney films

Too early to tell, not sure if it was worth costing hundreds if not more people their jobs just so a movie franchise has access to a few dozen extra characters of note, even then if Fox was sold to anyone else wasn't there a chance Disney would reacquire the film rights as they couldn't be sold or something.
Also 1 less studio means less movies, less chances at seeing some of the old fav franchises getting new stuff, unless Disney licenses their IP's out which I think is what Halloween did, they got licensed to Blumhouse for a trilogy but then the rights go back to whoever owns them currently, if Disney would be willing to do that it could be cool to see a Blumhouse or A24 Predator or Alien film or something.
Give it 5 years see how things shake out I say then ask again.

As a true X-Men fan, I hate what Fox did with those characters. Outside of a select few characters, I think Fox outright butchered them.
I have a lot more hope and excitement that the MCU will treat the characters way better.
That said, the MCU handling the X-Men is not the same thing as Disney handling the X-Men.

Pure digust. X-Men ended with Logan anyway.
Real xmen fans now have to sit back and laugh at mcu comedy childish xmen. that will be fun. I have already made multiple threads in the past explaining how and why mcu xmen will be a total eyesore for fans and cinema.
watch out for the fake xmen fans who will tell you they are excited but that is a lie as it is impossible for any real xmen fan to like the mcu movies. most of us stand with film makers and the disgust mcu has done for comic movies. we also have the proof to prove it with the comics and xmen animation that contradicts the goofy mcu comedy movies.

Well just spidey based you can go.
Video Game - The Amazing Spider-Man 2012, scored high 60's to low 70's on consoles, was the 2nd to last Spidey video game before Spider-Man PS4.
Cartoon - Marvel's Spider-Man {2017} scored 69% RT on user reviews as well as receiving positive industry reviews.
Outside of Spidey then Marvel Ultimate alliance 3 2019 scored 7 through 8/10 across the board, several of the lego games come in rating between 7 to high 8 out of 10's also, and cartoons well Avengers Assemble also has a 7/10 on IMDB as well as 71% for S1 on RT's.
Should have said "great" to really set the bar high, this was too easy.

Also do you mean disgust or digest? either way you misspelled it twice the same way in two posts, we all know you aint the brightest bulb but I mean that's ridiculous, and if you want to act so superior and smarmy you should learn how to spell such simple words so you don't look like you have been held back in pre-school for 10 years.

My position is they're rich and I'm not, so belting out a decent movie is the least they can do if they want even more of my money.

Alien, Predator and Die Hard franchises haven't had good films in decades. Die Hard 3 was fun, and the first 2 Aliens and Predators. Since those films, everything released was crap. IMO of course.

They may not have got anymore movies anyway as the last of each kinda flopped but I don't know if it'll happen at all under Disney.

So you can actually say that Disney saved more jobs by buying Fox than what would have been lost.
Why are people calling out Alien and Predator movies like the previous movies were so loved?

But had another company, not a studio mind you but an actual company brought them then it would still be a another major studio instead of just another mini studio under Disney, as for Alien & Predator because Aliens first 2 films are all time classics and Predator has had good entries just the last one was dogshit and they are franchises rather than stand alone films which people love and want to see more of, if they do them right, hence me wanting Disney to license the IP's for a potential trilogy to A24 or something because they could do those right mo.

You think a company would have that kind of money to toss at Fox to buy it? One did they offered billions for it but Disney outbid them, if Fox had to break off their business more to where "0th Century Fox wasn't sold ot Disney but they sold their entire Marvel catalogue of movies and shows, and Disney+ appropriate library but then still sold the actual studio and the remaining catalogue of films, shows and IP to the other company we would still have Fox as a separate operating studio with a healthy library of content they can work with and not cost so a many people their jobs, and Disney would still get the library for Disney+ and shit.
