Anyone else still frequenting Chinese restaurants? I am afraid to be in public in general, but not more at such a restaurant.

I have no fear of Chinese restaurants, as opposed to any other style of restaurant. However, I have decided to curtail my outings to "eateries," and gatherings, for a short time ... and, I don't know how long that will be. A lot of thought went into that, which included a serious self-examination about paranoia, which I don't think plays a major role. What's prudent VS what's crazy? I sympathize with all establishments that are suffering business loss. But, I live in a concentrated community, and I'm an early "boomer." I'll sit back in the weeds, for a few days. Won't hurt. My guess is that many restaurants may be offering some great price cuts, right now. I remember when the "Swine Flu," was the hysteria. The price of pork products took a nosedive. I knew that was silly, and I filled my freezer with pork cuts.

We had Chinese last Saturday, the place we go is very clean. I'm more afraid of picking up any kind of virus when I shop at WalMart - it seems like people are always sneezing and coughing into the air at that store. I go very early in the morning when there aren't too many customers.

enigma72 Had to actually wait in line for a table at the local "World Buffet" this weekend. Same day and same time as the usual visit but more people than ever were there. The food was fresher and hotter as a result which was nice ! Asked the manager and server about their families at home in China and all are still ok .. which was good to hear.

Whenever I have Chinese food I usually get it through take-out.
