'The Rental' 2 couples go away for the weekend - I'm assuming the person who rents it to them is off their rocker and attempts to kill them Enjoyable so far. Horror fans - I just watched Creep and Creep 2 - I don't know how I missed these movies - felt they were fantastic. Guy posts Craigslists ads to meet strangers and he's off his rocker. Found these tense and enjoyable where you're rooting for the protagonist to survive the movie. I still don't understand how and why you post in the middle of watching movies, but I've heard mostly decent things about The Rental. And I'm with you on Creep and Creep 2. I didn't expect either of them to be as effective as they are. They're pretty unsettling.

Makes me feel like I'm getting stuff done
I'm laying on my Total Gym with my laptop on me, watching the Rental and have Stephen Kings Night Shift open next to me - laundry is on the bed too - and occasionally rolling some socks

I get that to a degree. I've got pretty obvious ADD. But one of the few areas where I can regularly, really, fully, focus though is when I'm watching a good movie.

Made me feel really uncomfortable - I don't get that feeling a lot with horror movies
Like right off the bat you know something is wrong and want to shake the protagonist to get out of there ASAP - reminded me of when I was watching Midsommar and was literally yelling at the TV for the characters to get the hell out of there - just a feeling of impending doom

Good lord man... I'm exhausted just reading that. I'm led flat out on the sofa, covered in dogs and the cat, and wondering if I can be bothered to drag my arse up and make anything to eat tonight, or whether I'll just lie here and wait until tomorrow.

I don't care for it. Horrible unlikeable characters, no explanation for anything going on, and a ridiculous story. This is far better...

I fucking love this show. I haven't rewatched, but the second season is at least as good if not better. The whole cast is excellent and, not to spoil anything, but when some familiar faces show up it's handled perfectly. Also, I'm not sure if you've gotten to this point yet, but monster/makeup specialist actor Doug Jones has a featured role at one point and it's just great. You can tell that he and everyone else is having the best time making the show. Yeah dude, it's really great. I watch it by myself and I audibly laugh multiple times per episode. I'm counting down the time until I finish work and wrap up for the night so I can sit down and watch a few episodes. The episodes I watched last night involved the werewolf blood feud, and an episode where they went to visit Nick Kroll in what turned out to be an elaborate ruse for him to steal Laszlo's witch-skin hat, which was amazing. Caught up on the show yet?

Which, Creep ot Triangle? Creep That one I don't remember as well. I just kinda recall the style of it. I liked Triangle more, but I think those complaints could still be levied at that movie. Although, I'd argue that it's actually about those questions and being elusive and stuff is kinda the point. And it unfolds to answer some of that, in a way. He's done some other good stuff too. Severance is goofy, bloody fun.

Caught up on the show yet? I finished it, rather quickly after starting it. One of the most satisfying, genuinely funny shows I've ever seen. I can't wait for the third season to come out. The one episode with Mark Hamill, I honestly didn't even recognize who it was. The whole episode I'm thinking to myself "I know this guy, who the hell is he??" and I never figured it out until the credits rolled. What a clever, brilliant show.

I also kinda liked those movies. Those guys are all over the place. You mean the brothers Duplass? Yup. They have their hands in so many different things. I can't say I enjoy everything they do, but they do tend to be more original in what they churn out.

I was trying not to spoil it too much, but the end of the first season when the cast of the movie shows up along side other prominent movie vampires was great, and yes the Jackie Daytona episode is like all time great TV. But also when Colin Robinson becomes extra super powered and he can just make people collapse with finger guns or saying dumb office cliches. But that ghosts episode with Nadja's doll and Lazslo's ghost having unfinished business because he died just before he finished jerking off is one of my favorite jokes. Fucking love the show. The whole cast is great and they haven't had a bad idea yet.

The look on his face when he's feasting or whatever and his eyes light up is just amazing.
