Do humans consume feral pigeons? or killed for consumption means people raise pigeons to later eat them?

Kelly LeBrock (spelling?) was so unbelievably hot in that! I love all of those cheesey 80s movies about high school that remind you of your youth.
Can't think of the last one that was decent other than Superbad.....I'm sure they're out there - just can't think of one at the present moment.....

Do humans consume feral pigeons? or killed for consumption means people raise pigeons to later eat them? www.troisetoiles.de/This is a blog from a "Foodie", someone who visits star restaurants all over the world (here and there he inspired me to visit one to - I like this blog). Unfortunately for you, it is in German. But it has a lot of pictures to. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Anyway. One meal he fears as much as the devil the holy water (I translated a German proverb 1:1, so it might make no sense at all) is pigeon, for the once he suffered a food poisoning from it and it had obviously a lasting effect on him. So yes, it is eaten, and even served in the best restaurants in the world, but one should be careful. If a top restaurant can botch it, well... But I guess many are also killed through wind power stations and simply hunted/killed as pest.

But I guess many are also killed through wind power stations and simply hunted/killed as pest. I know of people who consume eggs of feral pigeons. Some people whom my friend invited to clean his house which had stood locked for many months found pigeon eggs and took them away and said that it tastes like chicken eggs. I once befriended a couple of feral pigeons and cared for the whole family. They used to come to my window. I did not try to scare them away. They started seeing my presence as normal even when I would be sleeping on my bed just 4 inches besides them. They made their nest on my window and even though they made it dirty I didn't scare them away as they were raising their 2 babies. Eventually I started feeding the adults. Finally I left the house as I got job elsewhere but my landlord was pissed off by my actions of letting the feral pigeon family live with me.

I watched Terry Gilliam's The Zero Theorem (2013) last night. Even though I am a big fan of Terry Gilliam, I am still not sure what to think of this movie. It has the hallmark craziness and wild visuals and inventive elements but the overall story didn't gel for me.

Dodsworth (1936) - Walter Huston/Mary Astor film about a troubled marrige. Excellent in every way - they don't make them like they used to.

President Trump addressing the nation on CNN.
Entertaining as always - stating we need to open all the schools in the fall - as L.A. and New York appear to be leaning in the other direction.

The Ninth Gate (1999) - enjoyable supernatural thriller with Johnny Depp. Second or third viewing. Stands up pretty well.

I finished watching the fourth and final season of the Spanish series El Ministerio del Tiempo , about the top secret "Ministry of Time" in charge of preventing changes to the country's history. For that purpose, Ministry agents travel through time using not time machines but "doors" that lead to the past. It's a fun series mixing time travel, history, adventure and quite a bit of comedy as well. Many of the episodes revolve around incidents in Spanish history that will not be familiar to non-Spaniards, but that never detracted from my enjoyment. Nitpickers might also probably complain about the show contradicting its own rules sometimes; fortunately I am not one of them!

Blue Jays intrasquad game was on SportsNet earlier. In stadium PA announcing players, horn for homers, pretty much treating the whole thing like there were live fans to entertain.

TRACKERS
Half-decent South African thriller about a possible terrorist threat in Cape Town. Cast of unknowns. Good curiousity value. (6 episodes)
The Plot against America
Adaption of Philip Roth's novel, set in an alternative 1940s USA, where aviator Charles Lindbergh becomes President on a promise to keep America out of WWII. (He was a known Hitler fan) The limited series tells the story of how a Jewish family copes with living under a president who openly admires the Jew-Killer. There are some slight similarities to The Man in the High Castle. The only thing that grates is Winona Ryder playing a spinster in her 30s. She's a good actress but this is slightly embarrassing for a while. Good show
