Alien series Predator series Bourne series Gremlins films Westerns Alien series - "Alien Resurrection" (2007), I remember being excited to see this movie as I had already seen and loved the first three movies endlessly. I wasn't really considering the "newer" age of technology and action. As the movie doesn't at all resemble anything the Ridley Scott and James Cameron films had (the third movie didn't either but it was closer to the first two style-wise). It was my first time at this cinema, one of two in my city. I watched it late and I don't know how else the audience liked it but I enjoyed it a lot. I don't think it's a perfect film but it's decent enough. The pregnant Alien Queen was a stretch of a plot line but I've seen hundreds of worse things since. I'd still watch parts of it on TV today, the cast was fun to follow at least to me. I would have done anything to see the first three films in the cinema!Predator series - "Alien vs. Predator" (2004), this movie was a really entertaining idea at the time. I remember seeing "Demonic Toys vs. Dollman" and the cheesy stupidity of that film, lol. This movie is the complete opposite of that film. I actually really enjoyed the plot of the film as I really had no clue what it would be about exactly going into watching the picture. Predators holding an Alien Queen hostage to test some of the most skilled Predators, it's a pretty badass concept still to me. The movie had an excellent pace and really looked nice on the big screen. The pyramid was a nice touch. I still like this movie a lot. - "Alien vs. Predator: Requiem" (2007), this sequel seemed to take a while to come out. When it finally did I liked how it jumped right into action after the first film. But to me, it is the complete opposite of the first movie. The entire cast you care less about, I barely remember any of the characters till even now. The Aliens were also kind of side characters and not really a major feeling threat like any other Alien film. I did like the design of the Predalien hybrid, it even felt scary at times. I would say the movie is okay but not something I continue to watch.- "Predators" (2010), I wasn't expecting much of anything with this Predator story only film - I said what the hell I'll go see it. I was surprised how wrong I was about the film. I like villains in any and all movies so it was nice to have a kind of cast of baddies facing off against Predators. This movie felt like a great homage to the first two Predator movies, which I would have loved to have seen in the cinema. It's a great film beginning to end, but I think I watched it enough times to not have to watch it again any day soon.Bourne series - None. I saw pieces of the first film on TV. It's not my kind of movie, though I would give the first movie a chance one day and then go from there. Beat'em up actions isn't something that grabs my attention right away. Nor special agent films.Gremlins films - None. Although I would have loved to have seen both of these movies in the cinema, they were before my time as the second film came out when I was only 7 years old, lol. Though, I would have still wanted to see it even at that age. Recently I saw the short film on Youtube, "Gremlins: Recall" - which was worth the 10 minutes to watch. It's a good example that you can still revive the Gremlins franchise.Westerns- None. I was never crazy for any modern film Western. I was never even crazy for old Westerns but I do consider old Western films to be the real genre. Anything with Clint Eastwood and John Wayne, for example. I'd want to see a well done horror-Western movie today, something like "Westworld" (1973). And no, not in a TV series. I hope the comments help, gifs included.

Westerns? But that's a genre; not a franchise. Anyway: SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON; TRUE GRIT 2010; RANGO; DJANGO UNCHAINED; THE LONE RANGER 2013; THE HATEFUL 8; THE REVENANT; THE RIDER.
