Isen`t she mainly a voice actress?. Its possible that she does not want to do live acting. It amazes me all the idiots saying the voice actress should have been given the role due to the fact that she voiced the character. They are so ignorant, they don't even know that acting and voice acting aren't the same thing. Yeah that is strange.

And she played Disney Channel characters 10 years younger than her actual age - middle school aged teens - in silly comedy roles. And now she’s almost 40. Some people are sentimentality attached to her just because she’s the “original Ahsoka”. But choosing her would definitely be a miscast. Her acting background would not suit the character or SW. |

For the record, I never suggested that Eckstein had to play the character in live-action. All I was saying is that it’s kind of funny, given that we heard her voice in TRoS.

Her voice has embodied the character in every phase. And it will seem a little weird if Dawson (or whoever plays her) doesn’t try to voice match Ashley to some extent. |

You’re giving RO too much credit. A major selling point of the movie was that Darth Vader was in it. The last third of the movie was some of the best Disney SW. A Vader cameo wasn’t the only the only thing it had going for it. The Battle of Scarif (all of it land, air and space) and that Vader scene were 100% perfect. RO is still the Best of the Disney SW movies.
