I would’ve thought they’d save themselves the trouble and just go with Ashley Eckstein, especially since we heard her voice in TRoS.

So the fake character that newbys love is finally going to become real. The problem is, there is a danger she will upstage Mando and turn the show into typical Girl Power bullshit just when SW was starting to "get it's balls back."

They couldn't resist, could they? We couldn't just have a nice Star Wars show about the state of the galaxy without any Jedi/Sith stuff happening. Now they're going to shoehorn that shit into this show. All for the dorks who cry, "It isn't Star Wars if I don't see a lightsaber!!!! DERP!"

That’s one of the reasons I liked Rogue One. But you do have those fans that whine “It’s not really SW if there’s no Sith or Jedi. It’s not worth watching!” Unfortunately I think they get catered to too much. We hardly get this brand of SW that we see in RO and The Mandalorian.

A major selling point of the movie was that Darth Vader was in it.

That was just shit for the birds. He ignited a lightsaber for not other reason than for dorks to slobber "Oh cool, a light-thaber! DERP!!!!" If they're really going to have Dawson play Ashoka, it's not going to just be a minor bit.

I would have actually laughed out loud if they actually gave Brie Larson the role just knowing how the disgraces known as "The Fandom Menace" feel about her.
That being said, Rosario Dawson is a very good actress and I definitely can't wait to see her as Ahsoka Tano in Season 2.

I can`t really picture her as Ashoka, This spoiler is totally of topic and has nothing to do with this thread. Frankly you should not read it. Also Ashoka (Ashoka The Great) is the name of the 3rd Mauryan Emperor who ruled The Mauryan Empire between c.268–c.232 BC. Mauryan Empire was a powerful empire in Ancient India

Its possible that she does not want to do live acting. It amazes me all the idiots saying the voice actress should have been given the role due to the fact that she voiced the character. They are so ignorant, they don't even know that acting and voice acting aren't the same thing.
