Meat products are way too expensive and so are snacks. All the prices for meat products and snacks have been grossly inflated. I cannot do this anymore. I'm tired of being punished for eating meat products and snacks. I am tired of medical professionals punishing us for being meat eaters and eating snack foods. Medical professsionals are some of the most judgemental people in the world. They really are obnoxious. But soceity has no other choice other than be at their mercy and that is the most sickening part of being a human being. You have to interact with them with a smile on your face and it better be a perfect smile too or else they will make your life harder.
They make our lives MISERABLE!

There is always jerky. It is meat, cheap, and a snack.

Medical professionals will tell you that unless you have an extreme medical condition, you need protein in the form of meat WITHIN REASON. Moderation in all things. And a strict veggie diet (particularly vegan) is not healthy.

I'm a vegetarian but I'm not sanctimonious about it. You do you. For me it's about the strong history of heart disease in my family and the ethics of commercial farming. I love eggs though. I live in farm country and it's possible to buy them guaranteed cage free and humane.

And a strict veggie diet (particularly vegan) is not healthy. Many cardiologists recommend a vegetarian or vegan diet for patients with heart disease. There's a very strong genetic component to cholesterol and heart disease. People like me with those genetics will have an easier time keeping their level where they should be with a vegetarian diet (limiting full fat dairy/whole eggs). Although not everything is for everybody. Some people can eat red meat and whole milk every day and not have a problem.

Some people have a stronger history than other's though. My grandfather had 5 open heart surgeries before he died and he was a very slim man. My brother abd I have both had cholesterol problems since our early 20's.
