Corona Outbreak Virus Is Darwinian
Darwinism states, in a simple way, "survival of the fittest". This process has being going on since life began. It is how we evolved into this present scenario.
There is no moral judgement to evolution, it is just natural law in action. We as humans are the only species capable of assigning a moral 'right' or 'wrong' to this process.
We as humans are the only species sophisticated enough to process the thought of altering evolution by advances in medical science. We do because we are capable of caring about people close to us. Had Darwinism had its way with me when I was diagnosed with cancer at age 35, I would have been dead decades ago. I am alive today because of advances in medical science, but at some point I will die, probably of some infectious disease that breaks out just like COVID, Influenza, Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever or Lassa Fever. Malaria is endemic in most parts of the world. Only Smallpox has been eradicated.
These diseases, and these natural laws, happen regardless of human feeling, but that does not diminish the grief we feel as loved ones sicken and die. That's what makes us human.
