Does it bother you when people enjoy movies you hate? Nope … I let them alone to like crappy movies … I figure, they like what they like and that's that ! BUT it bothers me when these same people insist on bashing movies they know I like just for the hell=a=it !

It makes me glad actually. People are entitled to their own opinion, and for the most part I’m able to accept differing stances from my own.

I think we all prefer to have others be at least close to our own taste in movies (because then we would have more in common) even though that don't always happen. but like others have said, at the end of the day... we all like what we like and that's that.
but there is very little that I would classify myself as 'hating' (or thereabouts) as typically boring is the worst crime a movie can commit. only about 7% of everything I have seen reaches boring level and next nothing reaches hate(or greatly dislike) status for me.
but to comment a bit further...
what I dislike, since it's easy to do and makes it too easy to dis someones taste in movies, is when someone tries to dis you and claim your taste in movies is bad by singling out a small amount of movies I happen to dislike that most seem to like quite a bit etc. but what they should do, and would give their dis more weight(if they could pull it off), is judge more by what a person does like to a higher degree. because this plays inline with what I was saying in that it would give more weight to the dis if a persons favorites were too disconnected with the common person (i.e they ain't got much in common with the common-ish person). because I feel that's more of a true test to see whether a persons taste in movies is bad or not as I would tend to use the wide public opinion on whether a movie is good or not to judge movies as a whole since the general public ultimately determines what's good/remembered and what's not.
so since in a very basic sense I only give a Thumbs Up to about 1 out of every 5 movies (or about 20% of everything I have seen) I have seen over the long term, it makes it very easy for those types of people who want to single out a handful of movies for a example in a attempt to dis you to the max and claim your taste in movies sucks. but to me the ones who's taste in movies truly suck are the ones who's favorite movies ain't got much in common with the common person (so this dis carries far more weight against the person then dissing them based on singling out a small amount of examples like many seem to do). in this regard I am sure I am doing AT LEAST okay unlike those who single out a small amount of movies to dis me would like you to believe like your well below the average persons taste in movies.

It's more bothersome when many people hate a movie that you like.

No, people are entitled to their own opinion.
All film is subjective. What's considered good and why? It depends on your criteria.
If you judge a movie on its entertainment value, then you are going to think some B level films that are highly entertaining are better than arthouse well written films critics consider a classic of cinema.
If you think laughing and feeling good is what a film is supposed to do for your then you'll have a different standard.

Not at all. I always find it more interesting to find out what a person loves about something rather than what they hate about it.

No, unless they plan to shove the movie down my throat and force me to love it. But it's never come to that.
