Tiger King on Netflix is an absolute dumpster fire of cray-cray that I couldn't stop watching! Every person interviewed is a complete original that no screenwriter could ever conceive of.

They were all basically real life South Park characters.
If this was scripted it would be awful TV, but because it’s not it’s hard to pull away.
I finished it a few days ago and still can’t stop thinking about it. So many questions.
Also, the music videos were great lol

We watched the first episode and I found it kinda boring, it's basically white trash drama like Moonshiners, Lizard Lick Towing, Jerry Springer, Amish Mafia, but with tigers.

Loved it.
I want to know how Jeff Lowe and his handyman/hitman friend aren't in prison. If Joe Exotic tried to have Carol killed - and I'm not completely convinced there's enough evidence he did - how is the guy he hired not in prison?! If Joe offered him money to do it - and he took it - end of story. Guilty.
I'm reading some articles now and a few of them talk about a 2nd hitman. An FBI agent? Was that in the series.

Completely insane. Trending #1 on Netflix. Not nearly as good as Don't f *ck with cats though.

They FBI WAS working on a case against Joe, but I assumed that was the case we saw in the documentary. The one where Allen got him convicted. How the HELL did Allen's testiomny get him convicted when Allen was the one who took money to kill Carol? How Jeff and Allen are free baffles me.
The articles I read said he tried to hire a 2nd hitman, who was an FBI agent. I don't remember anything about that in the documentary at all.
I don't remember much in the documentary proving Doc Antle did anything illegal. If he did, by all means get him, but the documentary itself didn't prove anything from him.

Wouldn’t they have some sort of immunity if they cooperated and gave the intel that the authorities wanted?

They’re doing another special on this.
I hate how Joe is perceived as some misunderstood underdog who didn’t do anything wrong. While some of it is in jest, the petitions to get him out of prison are disturbing.

Mildly underrated. It went from crash tv to a sort of True Detective without warning.
I do think all main parties are f'd & guilty about one thing or another, most of all they're all to a person guilty of animal abuse.

This is one of those shows I had no interest in from the beginning and all the publicity it’s gotten has only made me want to watch it less. :/

I was ready to quit until that. You could wiki the spoilers, but it was interesting time waster.

This is why I think television and movies especially need to go back to adapting real life events for a time instead of remakes or reboots. True life stories are right there for the picking.
