Might’ve been the most boring movie I’ve ever seen. Burton, O’Toole, and the set designs are great, but it’s like it goes out of its way to be boring at every turn.

It's far from perfect but I think it's one of the better historical epics of its era, largely thanks to the performances of Burton and (especially) O'Toole.

I’ve always like The Lion in Winter better. I don't remember if I've seen Becket or not, but I loved The Lion in Winter.

Loved it, and remember crying at the end when I was a youngster.

I would've preferred O'Toole or Burton winning over fucking Harrison ugh yikes.

We actually watched this in 10th grade world history. I think it’s the last time I saw it. I seem to remember a good scene when Burton and O’Toole meet on horse back on a beach.
