I love going back and playing old titles from NES to last gen, but sometimes it's really difficult getting used to older graphics when coming straight off of a PS4 or Xbox One game. It's not the graphical style that bothers me though, (in fact I really appreciate that side of it), it's that blurriness of 480 or 240p. Sometimes it takes days to get used to this again.
Anyone else have this problem?

Can't say I have. Since I never stopped playing classic games regularly, it's never really been a question of readjusting.

ya kind of but thats just with going back to play PS3 games.
I played Dark Souls after Bloodborne and had to get used to the gameplay speed and the graphics.

NES has nearly no slowdown, which is awesome yet something to re-calibrate with.

It's just kinda off how older games look on big flat screen tvs. They were not made for that resolution. They do look better on small screen like the 3DS has.

I kinda noticed even on my 24 inch flat screen it looks sorta weird.

Anyone else have this problem? I am no tech expert, but, when I plugged my PS2 into my 1080p television, it was blurry as fuck. I quickly unplugged it.

I just played Shadows of The Empire and Goldeneye on my big flat screen and yeah they looked like I was playing a mobile game on my TV lol
It didn't bug me though. I knew what to expect when I broke out the 64.

I'm not bothered by 8-bit or 16-bit graphics, because they have their charms and game developers were extremely creative with limited tools in those games, but I really don't like early 3D games.
Low polygon counts, blurry textures, horrible-looking characters...I'd much rather play a game with stylized 16 bit graphics than play an early 3D game where every character looks like a bunch of boxes stacked together.
