She adopted the "Skywalker" name.....That is good enough for me!

Then your are an odd duck, she isn't adopted by or married into the family, she literally just takes the name, a name which is revered in her galaxy for great heroism, unlike her family name that is known for great atrocities, there by making it a self serving gesture in most ways, and in no way makes her part of their bloodline or family.
If anything this just creates a new Skywalker line, Skywalker II totally unrelated to the Skywalker I line, I mean if I adopt Hemsworth as my last name does that mean I am part of Chris Hemsworth's family now? no doesn't work like that so like I said stop being a troll.

Luke and Leia (Just based on the looks that they had on both of they're faces) didn't seem to have a problem with Rey taking the 'Skywalker' name and that puts it over the top for me.
You can go a head and call me whatever you want but I am entitled to my own feelings, views, thoughts, and opinions on everything (just as you are to yours as well) and so to me, Rey is indeed a 'Skywalker' now and That is Final.

Also she can be a Skywalker, but it doesn't make her one of those Skywalker's, like I said I can change my name to Hemsworth doesn't mean I am one of those Hemsworths, that's not opinion that's a simple fact.
I mean come on by that logic does that make Chewie a Skywalker? he's practically family to them, I mean he's known and been close to them for decades, compared to Rey who met them what a year prior? What about Ashoka? she was Anakin's Padawan and they were close as hell, I mean how about Han he married into the family as did Padme, seems the only reason to include Rey is to troll people there is no other point to this thread really, I mean you could have made a point to this by posing it as a question, such as Did the Skywalker line end with Ben Solo? and state a case as to why you feel it continues on with Rey, that's a topic of discussion and worthy discussion, rather than this nonsense.

Rey is not a skywalker by blood or marriage so she does not belong there.

Rey is not a skywalker by blood or marriage so she does not belong there. What if Palpatine is Anakin’s father? Do you believe the virgin claims by Shmi? She doesn't say this iirc, she says there was no father, doesn't mean she was a virgin, just that she hand not had sex anytime near Anakin's conception, she could have taken 15 dicks and a Wookie's fist up her cooch in a single night 2 years prior to Anakin being born and still there was no father to Anakin.
Though this raises an interesting point as there is the belief by some that Sidious did conceive Anakin through the Force at will, rather than Anakin being conceived by the will of the Force itself, based on some stuff he says in the opera scene in ROTS, if so then kind of yes he was Anakin's father, which makes Rey Anakin's half sister of a sort...still not technically a Skywalker but it's a stronger connection to them than simply she kissed Ben that one time and Luke and Leia smiled at her .

Star Wars comic finally reveals Anakin’s fatherby Callum Gunn 1 year ago The mystery of Anakin’s father has finally been revealed. Star Wars comic, Darth Vader No. 25 has decided to show us how Anakin came to be. Ok, so this is pretty obvious but I am going to say it anyway. Spoiler alert for those of you who have not read Darth Vader No. 25 yet. If you are planning to read the comic anytime soon please do not read this post unless you are ok with spoilers. if you don’t read the Star Wars comic and just want to know who Anakin’s father is, then read on. It’s going to be good. So let’s get to it. The topic of who Anakin’s father has been a subject of discussion for some time. Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace touched on this by explaining that there was no father. His mother Shmi told Qui-Gon this by simply explaining that she carried him, gave birth, and raised him. She can’t explain how it happened but there was definitely no father. This then led Qui-Gon to believe that Anakin was born from the force itself and that Anakin was a creation of Midi-chlorians, which is why he had such a high concentration. Some Star Wars fans accepted this explanation and never looked back, however other fans did not. And ever since that explanation came out theories and debates have been thrown around over who the father of Anakin truly is. Fast forward 19 years, seven movies, and a bucket load of comics and other Star Wars-related releases later, and Darth Vader No. 25 has provided us with the answer. Anakin’s father is The Emperor. Palpatine manipulated the Midi-chlorians inside of Shmi’s womb to create Anakin. Check out the moment just below. A lot of fans have always theorized that Palpatine was the father of Anakin, ever since Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. When Palpatine tells Anakin about Darth Plagueis the Wise, this was the point where fans began to believe that Palpatine may be Anakin’s father. By admitting he learned the secrets to create life with the force before killing his master and therefore would be the only one to create Anakin from Midi-chlorians. And hey, it looks like they were right.

Skywalker is the SW version of streetwalker. Shmi worked the spaceports around Tattooine and Watto was her pimp.

George Lucas always declared books non canon, they are literally just farts in the wind. Yes and he also thought Jar-Jar Binks was going to be a beloved character, shows what he knew.
And now the comics and that are canon because Lucas doesn't have any say anymore and he's kind of salty and bitter about that, until their not, it's fucking stupid but until a movie or TV show state otherwise this is now canon.
Keep in mind Lucas also thought Han shooting first was the better idea 20 years after the fact and that all the additions he made to the films made them all better, when it's like 1 in 7 maybe actually enhance the movies somewhat if we are being generous that is.

Nope, Star Wars began as live action movies, until it is shown in live action movies or tv, it never happened. This is the way SW has always been and always will be.
