Ill just cut through the BS...
-When males think of the name Ryan Gosling they probably think... Drive (2011) -When females think of the name Ryan Gosling they probably think... The Notebook (2004)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
but just on a personal level..
1)Drive (2011) - 7/10 2)La La Land (2016) - 6-6.5/10
there is more I like but those are the ones that stand out for me.

Well, I didn't really see any acting whatsoever in , only god forgives. So that would be at the bottom maybe.

VitsTrue. but the way I see it, while not always true... if a movie is average/forgettable (or worse), even if the performance is good enough, it makes it difficult to comment positively if the movie itself is forgettable. so that sort of makes me write off a lot of random actors performances because of that unless something happens to stand out a bit more than usual in which case it might be enough to sway me in favor of overlooking the movie itself being average-ish. so while I get people could make a decent argument for other movies... ill back Drive personally as I liked that character etc.

Ill just cut through the BS... -When males think of the name Ryan Gosling they probably think... Drive (2011) -When females think of the name Ryan Gosling they probably think... The Notebook (2004) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You do have a habit of tarring others with your own brush. This male would put The Believer and Half Nelson firmly on top, well ahead of Drive, and over the years numerous males and females have expressed favour for many other RG roles, in many threads, on many message boards. In fact I don’t recall the last time anyone, male of female, listed The Notebook as their favourite. Perhaps it would be more appropriate if you started just stating your own preferences in threads like this?

I've been in love with him since The Notebook and loved him in everything since.
