Today. How come people want to torture themselves at home instead of entertain themselves?

Does this not constitute cruel and unusual punishment?

Today. How come people want to torture themselves at home instead of entertain themselves? The Last Airbender is an entertaining and spectacular trainwreck. It's a bad movie, sure, but it's enjoyably bad. I'll take that over dull or boring any day of the week.

I think you both need to be familiar with the series to understand what's going on and forget about the series entirely to best enjoy the film. It is an odd contradiction.
