What are these 'haircuts' of which you speak?

All of the barber shops and salons are closed, so I've been trimming it myself to keep it from fraying too much. I can't tell how good of a job I'm doing in the back though.

Thankfully i had a haircut a month ago so i don`t need to have a haircut for 4-5 months so i will think about that when that times comes.
If i can`t cut my hair in 4-5 months by a barber or hairdresser i will just shave all my hair of my head

I currently keep my hair "longish" so last cut I only trimmed the ends. I asked someone I trust to do it for me.

I have been pretty much doing it myself about once a month (maybe a month and a half max) for I think about 15 years now as this way my hair stays more optimal.
I just use a electric trimmer with 1/4" or 3/8" clip. sometimes ill do the sides and back with the 1/4" and 3/8" on top. but sometimes ill just use the 3/8" over my entire head. but for a while now I have been just doing the 1/4" over my entire head since it buys me a little time and keep my hair a little shorter in-between my monthly haircut. then I use a re-chargeable trimmer to do my sideburns as it gets real close to the skin and then I just use my standard electric shaver (which I use to shave my face like usual) to get it right to the skin.
p.s. I don't know how any guy likes long hair as maintenance would be a chore and would get in your way etc. far more draw backs with long hair than positives.

Trimming myself, as I've done for about 5yrs now. Short short, like Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction.

I had a fairly shortish cut (for me) two weeks before the shutdown. I’ll be good for a couple of months.

I'm just letting it go until I can find a professional who can cut it.

I’ve been trimming my hair for a couple of years now so no big change here.

Quit those about 3 years ago. I did not want to be "the guy with long hair". It just works way better for my hair type. In fact, I probably look more clean cut with long hair and just tying it back. My hair is way too fuzzy to be short and have some kind of hairstyle. Plus being longer makes the grey way less noticeable.
I will be faced with having to go on job interviews at some point in the near future. And I am going to have to consider what to do here. I finally got everything grown out, especially hard are the sides right around the sideburns area. So I would hate to have to cut my hair. Pretty sure I will keep it as-is. As long as I dress well and am clean shaven, I hope they won't hold it against me!
I would love to have a short men's haircut that looks nice, with even moderate maintenance. In order to make my short hair look nice and clean cut - I need to feel like I am putting on a disguise in the morning! Way too much hair product is needed, just to keep it from looking like I rolled out of bed and didn't even look in the mirror.

Once I started to develop a bald spot in back I keep my hair shaved close. I cut it to 1/4" and forget about it. Long hair is a hassle. Once you're no longer a pretty boy in your 20's with pretty styled hair, what's the point of not shaving your head?
Shaved heads are for when you are showing signs of hair loss. If I am mid-40's and still rocking a full head of hair, no way am I joining the "shaved head" ranks. My head was so full of thick hair growing like crazy! I was always looking forward to when it starts thinning. No way am I shaving my head now! I am in the prime days of having good hair!
