I was baptised when I was 26. It was important to me, and I'm glad I did it even if I'm not much for organized religion now. God bless!

So you're actually an agnostic. Nah, I think agnosticism is a wussy state of being. I'm rarely 99% sure of anything. But do most Christians actually believe you can't go to heaven unless you were baptized? Some do. Catholics consider it a requirement of salvation, but your standing with God is day to day in the Catholic faith anyway. The Church of Christ folks are fanatical about it to the point of being considered a cult by some. Just like Seventh Day Adventists believe worshipping on Sunday is the mark of the beast.

Yeah, the reason I brought up full immersion is because Baptists don't believe your baptism is legitimate unless your head is under water. Mormons believe nonbelievers can be baptized after they're dead. I think religion is fascinating. I think river baptisms are cool.

But do most Christians actually believe you can't go to heaven unless you were baptized? Not sure why some Christians believe that.. I was always reminded of this Scripture: Luke 23:39-43 39 One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!” 40 But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? 41 And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving [c]what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” 42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come [d]in Your kingdom!” 43 And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”
That thief surely wasn't baptized.
