Top 10 Favorite Black Sabbath Songs: 1. War Pigs 2. Supernaut 3. Paranoid 4. N.I.B. 5. Black Sabbath 6. Snowblind 7. Neon Knights 8. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 9. The Mob Rules 10. Faeries Wear Boots Can't believe you left Iron Man off the list. Played out? I was thinking about doing a top ten Zep songs the other day but didn't get around to it. It’s a great song of course but a) I forgot about it while making this list, and b) it’s more of a top 15 or so for me. All the songs I listed I like better than Iron Man.

Ted Hastings lines. "I didn't float up the Lagan in a bubble" "Now we're sucking diesel" "Don't talk to me about victimization. Nobody's blacker than me, son" "You've got a bloody nerve" "Now we're cooking with gas" " Sorry, Sir, I have to say, it's Jamie not James.Frankly, right now, son, I couldn't give a shit" "None of my people would plant evidence. They know I would throw the book at them. Followed by the bookshelf" "Go back to the coal face, the pair of you, unless you’ve got more egg-sucking tips for your granny" "There’s only one thing I’m interested in, and that’s catching bent coppers" "This department’s been watertight for years, fella, and now we're leaking like a colander"

Only if you count the games Brady started. Didn't you see my post in the NFL thread? It was positive. I'm laying off the criticism for the rest of the season. To me the case has already been made, I don't want to get into this conversation every time they win a game because their defense shut down the Ravens passing game in a monsoon, a week after they gave up 27 points to an 0-8 team. There's a real chance for the Pats to finish with a winning record, or at least 8-8, which is better than I expected. It's time to move forward and hope for the best instead of expecting the worst. I want these games to mean something when I watch.

It’s a great decade for movies.

Ten ideas for future ESPN documentaries on defining sports events of the 2010s 1. King James - a chronicle of the defining athlete of the decade, LeBron James. Ranging from the fallout from his infamous "Decision" to announce his move to Miami, his resulting metamorphosis from hero to villain in the Heatles era, to his battles against the Warriors (and how Kevin Durant shifted the balance of power in the league) and finally to his Lakers move as he began to form his own superteam 2. The Big Fish - focusing on Mike Trout's dominance languishing in a little pond outside of the spotlight, without almost any national recognition 3. Brady's Bunch - an overview of the circumstances behind the Patriots' five Super Bowl trips in the decade. Obviously, there's ample material ranging from Deflategate to The Comeback to the end of an era 4. 108 Years - How the Chicago Cubs ended a century of failure 5. Alexander the Great - Alex Ovechkin's long-awaited Stanley Cup victory in 2018 over the brand new expansion team, the Vegas Golden Knights 6. National Shame - a summer of samba ends in trauma for Brazil with the infamous World Cup 2014 semifinal 7-1 defeat to Germany 7. Trashstros - the cheating scandal that rocked the nation and disgraced the good name of the Houston Astros8. Two Shots of Texas - The Texas Rangers ultimately fail to win the World Series after reaching it in consecutive years, including twice being one strike away from winning it all in 2011 9. New Kids on the Block - the explosive debuts of QBs Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, with the sovereignty of a new era at stake 10. Messi v Ronaldo - a rivalry that divides soccer's international fanbase Not considered: college sports, golf, boxing They got bailed out by the pandemic. People will be so happy to have sports back that they won't bother booing those guys anymore. By the way you missed a great chance to say “shouldn’t it be Belichick’s Bunch lol? Since you know, the coach is way more important than the QB. Isn’t that right sdm lol?”

10 ongoing ScreamingTreeFrogs bits best to worst:
1) Arguing that not only could he make an NFL roster at QB, but that he'd be 'pretty damn good.' It's probably the most outlandish thing he's ever said, but he's committing to argue it as if he means it. Credit has to be given. This shit is hilarious. Like when George Costanza said he could coach in the NFL because it's not that hard, and Jerry replied 'That might be the stupidest thing you've ever said.'
2) The Eagles, and other Philly teams, are always gonna win every game and are always on the precipice of a championship run.
3) 'Gravy'. It wasn't actually funny, but the timing was right for this one. It was the classic hedging-your-bets kinda thing, but it worked out and as dumb as it was it was able to carry through to the next season just because it was fortuitous timing.
4) Hurtsy, Wentzy, etc. It's really stupid, but if you repeat anything enough it can catch on, and other people on here have taken to using these non-nicknames as nicknames. Effective.
5) Shitty movies like Alien v Predator is an undeniable classic while other actual classics are bad, and the remakes are always better than the legit good ones. It's pretty lame and unoriginal, but it's all in good fun and it comes up a lot.
It's one of those things that's not funny at all until like 73rd time you see it and then you smirk.
6) That pro Wrestling is a competitive sport. It's fine. There's no problem with discussing the nostalgia for old school WWF from your childhood, but the insistence that it's a 'real' sport even while acknowledging that it's outcomes are predetermined is pretty tired and dull, but it still elicits argumentative responses sometimes... which can be funny on occasion.
7) The 'Die Hard is a Christmas movie' thing which is inherently lame and played out, but he throws Lethel Weapon in there too. It's not a conversation worth having, still, but it's a slight variation on the tired old jokey debate.
8) The 'I don't know who comic characters, or star wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings characters are.' Just kinda dull and not funny to pretend to be superior by not having heard of things that everyone has heard of, whether your a fan or not.
9) that 'I think that Stan Lee and Christopher Lee are the same person' joke that somehow went on for a long time. It was a bizarre enough attempted joke to maybe be amusing, and he committed to it for a long time, but it was just bad and didn't work on any level.
10) The many, many, many times a thread is started with some ridiculous salacious thread title about something horrible but he doesn't provide a link or any context then he gets a few replies, goes back and changes the title and flips the perspective on that issue completely. It's really lame, stupid, and cheap, and I can't imagine it amuses anyone.. even him.
