Top 10 Akira Kurosawa movies. 01. Rashomon (1950) 02. Throne of Blood (1957) 03. Yojimbo (1961) 04. Seven Samurai (1954) 05. Ikiru (1952) 06. Ran (1985) 07. Sanjuro (1962) 08. The Bad Sleep Well (1960) 09. Kagemusha (1980) 10. Stray Dog (1949) (edit) Have to add a number 11. The Hidden Fortress (1958). It's the movie Lucas used the most to make Star Wars. In particular, the two bumbling peasants became R2D2 and C3PO.
I have to catch up on my older Kurosawa movies. I think the only pre-70s ones that I've watched are Seven Samurai and Rashomon. As for his later movies, I remember liking Ran, Kagemusha, Dersu Uzala and Dreams a lot.

Top 10 Arnold movies: 1. Predator 2. Terminator 3. Total Recall 4. Running Man 5. T2 6. Commando 7. Pumping Iron 8. Conan the Barbarian 9. Twins 10. Kindergarten Cop T2 below The Running Man. Come on now. T2 probably tops the list, and I enjoy the silliness of the Running Man, but seeing those in that order is especially egregious.

Top 10 cheesiest Stephen King adaptations:
1) Maximum Overdrive 2) The Langoliers 3) The Tommyknockers 4) Sometimes They Come Back 5) The Mangler 6) Cell 7) The Dark Tower 8) The Shining (miniseries) 9) Dreamcatcher 10) Thinner
Honorable Mentions:
The Lawnmower Man (doesn't really count) Sleepwalkers (original screenplay, not an adaptation) The Running Man (not very Kingian, more Arnold cheese) The Stand (pretty serious and well made in the early parts, and kinda intense to watch now, but the latter special effects and tone are quite cheesey.. very uneven episodes for a miniseries)

Come on now. T2 probably tops the list, and I enjoy the silliness of the Running Man, but seeing those in that order is especially egregious. Man, we are not in sync lately. First the lobster rolls and now this? I think we're spending too much time together during the pandemic. Running Man is purely a personal choice for me, as it's one of my favorite movies from when I was a kid. Objectively, T2 is the better movie in pretty much every way ALTHOUGH, I did watch T2 in the past few years and something about it doesn't hold up. The movie takes itself seriously but Arnold is still cracking jokes every 5 minutes, whereas in Running Man, it's supposed to be cheesy so it works. Plus, there are long stretches sans T-1000 and Linda Hamilton's shrieking wore on my nerves. I dunno. If I were to make this list 10 years ago, T2 probably would have been #1 on this list for me but no longer. Fun fact, did you know that Billy Idol was originally cast as the T-1000? Not considered, not auditioned, he was actually cast by James Cameron. The only reason he ended up not doing it was because he was in a motorcycle accident which busted up his leg so he wasn't able to do the physical work needed for the part.

No - he sucked.
He was big and an attraction for his time.
Especially since there was no social media back then - he was a draw like a circus freak (hope that didn't sound cold) you'd hear stories about.
I'd put him in the late teens - maybe low 20s - and that's just because he was a giant and had physical prowess - but little if nothing else
He's probably a couple of picks above Hillbilly Jim.....
