But that first episode and the panic that ensues when they disease begins to spread is pretty eerie at the moment. I have had that conversation several times with other King fans. Part of the reason I liked the 1st mini-series is that The Stand is my favorite King novel. It is a monumental read though at well over 1000 pages.

My top 10 favorite NHL logos: 1. Philadelphia Flyers 2. Chicago Blackhawks 3. St. Louis Blues 4. Detroit Red Wings 5. Minnesota North Stars 6. San Jose Sharks 7. Toronto Maple Leafs 8. Hartford Whalers 9. New Jersey Devils 10. Winnipeg Jets (original one) Top 10 NFL logos 1. Dolphins - it’s just pretty 2. Raiders - cool and iconic 3. Cowboys - love em or hate em, the star holds power 4. Saints - encapsulates the region 5. Chiefs - looking good 6. Bills - always liked this one 7. Giants - simplicity and class 8. Steelers - vintage 9. Colts - what’s not to like about a horseshoe? 10. Vikings - unique I’m not a fan of the “classic” logos like Bears and Packers (“here’s a letter”), outside of the Giants, and I generally hate the generic “animal” logos like Panthers, Jaguars, Ravens etc. That said the Texans logo is the worst. Generic arena league. I'm with you in general, but I don’t mind the Texans logo and I think the Patriots is by far the worst.

Part of the reason I liked the 1st mini-series is that The Stand is my favorite King novel. It is a monumental read though at well over 1000 pages. I'm trying to find a copy that doesn't run me like 45 bucks. And since I've never read the book I'm trying to decide whether the first edition version is the way to go, or the second publishing which I guess was the original version as written, and is like an additional 350 pages or something. How are you feeling about the new CBS All Access series? The cast seems good, but maybe a little too movie star-ish. And 9 think they ought to replace Amber Heard, but that's a separate discussion. I think some of the production overlapped with the real world outbreak, which is pretty weird. Not sure if it's finished, and I wonder how it affects the release plan. Do they hold it until things return to normal, or do they capitalize on people being home and having an outbreak on their minds?

First thing that popped into my head, Studio Ghibli films - Princess Mononoke From Up On Poppy Hill My Neighbour Totoro Kiki's Delivery Service Arriety Porco Rosso The Wind Rises Laputa: Castle In The Sky The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya When Marnie Was ThereI never saw Grave of the Fireflies, but they say that's a great one too. Not a Miyazaki film, but a lot of people's top Studio Ghibli effort. I'd easily take Grave over Mononoke, Castle, Totoro (2nd fave) and Kiki. Haven't seen the others.

Do they hold it until things return to normal, or do they capitalize on people being home and having an outbreak on their minds? I had forgotten all about the new series and I literally canceled my subscription last week. I only subscribed for Picard but didn't like it. Patrick Stewart seems too old now to play the swashbuckling Captain Picard of the Next Generation series. As far as the actors in CBS' version I think Whoopi Goldberg is perfect casting for playing Mother Abigail. Also Greg Kinnear as Glen Bateman. I am not a huge James Marsden fan and Stu Redman is the key player in King's novel. Who knows, he might win me over. If Stephen King is part of the series I think he will want to delay the release until the virus is under control. He is not the the sort of guy who likes to take advantage of peoples fear. He would rather your fear is created by his writings.
