I used to watch Step By Step when i got home from school, i am pretty sure i have seen every episode. I did enjoy watching it back in the 90s, but i have not watched it since the 90s.

I am currently watching the final season of the show which was just released this past Tuesday. Sasha Mitchell (Cody) is who kept me watching it back then. Bronson Pinchot (season six's Jean-Luc) is the reason why I watch it now, I love him SO much!!! God bless you and him and Sasha and the rest of the cast always!!! Holly

I wasn’t as invested storywise in this one as a lot of other 90s sitcoms...but I had a decent crush on Al Lambert...and I always thought Karen was super hot.
For reference I was between 9-16 yrs old when I watched this.

^^^ That is how old I was when the show was on. I was nine when the show first started and it wrapped up just before my 16th birthday.
God bless you always!!!

I do remember this show. I think the execs at CBS (or wherever the show first started) weren't going to give it the time of day because it was on at a really weird time.
However, it got rave reviews, and it eventually made its way on to the TGIF line up on ABC.
Too bad nothing ever became of Angela Watson, though. She was SO fine.

This was a good show with a good cast. I do think there was a little too much Cody as things went on. It's very easy for sitcoms to be taken over by "break-out characters" (I'm looking at you Urkel).

The cast of the show unfortunately has seen its share of tragedy ..
(Frank) Patrick Duffy's parent were murdered by teenagers during a robbery in 1986.
(Karen) Angela Watson's parents were robbing her of her money until she sued them. She never acted again.
(Cody) Sasha Mitchell was arrested for beating his wife and broke parole restrictions. He was fired from the show but returned for the 2nd to last episode.
(J.T.) Brandon Call was a followed by a car into a culdesac after a road rage incident and was shot twice in both arms. He drove himself to a police station and recovered in the hospital. After the show ended he worked respectively at his parents gas station.
(Brendon) Josh Byrne struggled to get more air time and story lines on the show so he quit by the 5th season and was never mentioned again, nor did he work in acting ever again.
(Mark) Christopher Castile joined Twitter in 2011 and rarely ever tweeted since then. He was graciously welcomed to Twitter by (Al) Christine Lakin in a nice tweet. He was eaten by the dog who co-starred with him in the Beethoven films at a cast reunion a few years later.

Actually that was a joke from an early episode of season 2 where Beethoven is on the show playing the neighbors dog who the Lamberts dog sit and Mark (Christopher Castile) is afraid he is going to eat him. But there has to be a logical reason why he never replied to Lakin's tweet.

Another person from Saved By The Bell besides Elizabeth Berkley who also had a role on this show in one episode is Tiffani Amber Thiessen. She is in the season one episode named Daddy's Girl.
God bless you and her and Elizabeth always!!!
