So while there is many bad things happening and I recognize the loss and suffering of others and myself also lost jobs/projects/income, there are still Some good things this situation brought to my life. And they are:
1. I learned I can live on much less money than what I thought I could. And quite happily too. This really has been a good exercise in financial humility and responsibility. 2. I lost a buncha weight. Because i dont go out and dont eat unplanned things but also because I realize I must be in the best health and shape possible to have the highest chances of survival I can have, if I get it. Overall I value my health more now I think and make smarter choices. 3. I organized my closets and did some deep cleaning around the house. I kept postponing this FOREVER and now couldn't say I don't have the time for it anymore. My bedroom looks much better now. 4. I am SO MUCH nicer to my parents now, and in more frequent contact with them. I mean I would call them usually once a week before, now I call almost every day, and I am so appreciative of them being alive and all. I reconnected with some friends with whom I lost touch, and thats nice too. some reached out to me, some I reached out too, but more communication is happening. 5. I am learning new things. Sign language and cooking for now. But will come out of this with new skills.
what about you?
is there anything good at all this whole thing brought to you?

BAD:
I found the weight you lost nora.
The now unemployed neighbor has taken to revving his Harley day and night He also smokes a lot of pot (legal in California) so I can't leave windows open even though the weather is beautiful
I hear the trash men at 5 AM because they are the only noise at that time now.
My car battery died (lack of use?)
TV has no new episodes
I have washed my hands raw Good: The air quality is better
My oldest daughter seems to check in better like you
More time with my daughter with cerebral palsy and my husband
When I do talk to a neighbor it seems more meaningful

I think most people who now stay home will end up eating more, I would have too, if I didnt live in the USA and was not afraid of healthcare bills draining my account. So I do all I can to prevent having to go to the hospital. So I am really losing weight out of fear of going bankrupt )

I am so tired and mentally exhausted that I can't give any positives at the moment. This WFH has my mental state at a level that is about to explode. May be tomorrow I can give share some positives.
