Am just about through the third book in this trilogy, and really like it. It's slow going at times, but for a reason. Everything points to something that will or has happened, and is explained. I'll be sad when I finish the third book, and will then move on to rereading American Psycho.
My daughter tells me I should write down the books I read and post them on Good Reads. I usually go through three books a week, so do the math. I've posted maybe seven reviews on Good Reads, but have rated all the books.

The closest I've come to reading any of them...is watching Annihilation.

On book two: Authority. The first one was interesting enough. I enjoyed it. But this one is really mediocre. I’m struggling to get through it. The sci-fi aspect is really wearing thin because he wants to maintain a Kubrick style ambiguity but it just comes off as lazy and aimless. And the writing is really amateurish compared to the first.
