That's 3 times the legal speed limit on the QEW. 191 mph. I think his parents are gonna slap him with a tennis racket at 308 km/h across his face.

When I was watching it on the news tonight, & they mentioned it was his father's car, I said to my sister "Wow!!! I bet his father must be furious with him."

That's potential manslaughter.

I could not believe he had a passenger. That's potential manslaughter. Back when I was in high school, a kid from another high school went with his friend on a road rage & you guessed it, they got into a fatal car accident. The friend was killed as was the 70-year-old driver of the other car. At the friend's funeral, the parents were interviewed by the newspapers, & they had told the papers that he had been forbidden to ride with the other guy, as he had a reputation for speeding. So sad.

The father could well be the moron that instilled in his son to follow in his footsteps. We know nothing of these people (so far, I haven't even seen the kid's name even published), so, I don't think its best to make presumptions like that. Some kids have a need for speed, & yet, they come from well to do families.

I did say could well be and the kid is old enough to be responsible for his own actions, but parents are not beyond reproach for the attitude of their kids either. I know you said "could well be" but, it's still best not to make hypotheses about such things. We know nothing of the kid himself, other than his need for speed.

Hypothesis or not, the kid was going like the wildest bat out of hell in his dad’s car that was able to drive that fast. There are always layers involved to attitudes like this. We may never know the full circumstances, but daddy will wear part of the brunt too. Which was why I said that his father must be furious with him.

Some kids have a need for speed, & yet, they come from well to do families. The roads & especially highways in Ontario have been historically empty these past few COVID-19 weeks. The uptick in the number speed racing fines (50 km/h or more above limit) has also been pretty historic, considering how few vehicles are on the road. Here's some skateboarding jackasses, in broad daylight, skateboarding the Gardiner Expressway, downtown Toronto...

Well, I guess it showcases our Ontario highways pretty well that no one died. Driving into Quebec feels like going from airport runway to shopping mall entrance way.

The prisons in Quebec are a joke. How so? The French are an amorous people but I never thought they were brutal. I always think of Canadian prisons being like resorts. Like the US, & for that matter, most countries throughout the world, Canada has had its share of serial killers, & among those nefarious type of lowlifes that we had, was a husband & wife duo, who killed at least 3 girls, & raped numerous others. I should add, that one of those poor girls whom this evil couple had killed, had been the wife's own little sister. When they were finally caught, the wife passed herself off as a battered housewife. In fact, she was going to press charges against him for spousal abuse (there were photos of her with 2 huge racoon black eyes). The Canadian Judicial system bought into her sob story, & gave her a nice little plea deal: she testify against him at his murder trial, & she only serve a paltry 12 years. Naturally, everybody right across the country was completely enraged over this. She played major role in her husband's crimes (nobody feels sorry for her, for the fact that he beat her up during their marriage. She knew she was marrying a serial rapist). But, what added insult to injury was this: For the first 4 years, she was sent to a major women's prison, here in Ontario, but, the women's prison had to close, so she had to be shipped off to another prison (as were all the other inmates, to various prisons & jails across the country). She was sent off to a prison in Quebec. The prison that she was sent to, had been compared to a summer resort. It even had the nickname of "Club Fed." The "jail cells" were actually cottages, within the grounds of the prison. Throughout the 8 years that she was incarcerated up there, there had been many photos taken of her having such a great time. In fact, I would venture to say that any "hard time" she did up there was purely coincidental. One final note: Since completing her joke of a sentence, she has since remarried, & now has 3 kids (the exact same number as the kids whom she had helped her first husband kill).

In BC, they can tow your vehicle and impound for 30 days if going over the speed limit by 40 km/hr

We also had an air force colonel who liked break into houses and try on women's clothing; killing a couple of girls and keeping a stash of kiddie porn were his other hobbies. Odd, considering he flew the Queen and was the base commander at the time.

Yeah, he got to fly the Queen, just as John Wayne Gacy met & was pictured with President Carter's wife, in between murdering more than 30 boys. And now, this creep here might be released!!! Cannibal Killer Luka Magnotta Might Be Released, Due To Covid-19

Remember the kid in BC who was travelling 300+km/hr on a highway? He got acquitted - cops couldn't prove it was actually him. He did lose his motorcycle - cops can seize and sell anything used in a crime. He also tried to go to a friend's wedding in Mexico but the Federales sent him back to Canada. He tried again on another flight but was turned back again. Too funny.
