It depends on what kind of scientist they are (and what kind of person they are in general). Most of them would continue doing science up until the end. I'd like to think so. I believe I would. When I've been faced with death, I've always handled it in such a way. When you're in the driver's seat, you always feel like you should continue to try to control as much as you can. Now, when I'm a passenger, it may be different.
